A Player’s Review of Syncronite

The pokie’s title reminded me of the beautiful Police album “Synchronicity,” and for a good reason. It is all about reel synchronisation and symbol-splitting here, which sounds complex, but it is a pretty straightforward game.

The fantastic atmosphere drew me in from the start, and I particularly liked the simple but lavish design and a beautiful, catchy soundtrack. While not exactly feature-rich, Syncronite uses its trump cards wisely, delivering an experience of sheer fun with numerous winning opportunities.

Perfect Harmony

I went through many sessions and rounds, some of which brought me a lot of joy, and I put my hands on decent amounts of money. Still, I was not showered with cash despite a more-than-decent hit rate of 27.34%. Winning rounds will be there, but it is down to Lady Luck how lucrative they will be.

Syncronite has a smooth flow and is a perfect time-killer, especially if you are on a roll. Yggdrasil did not want to choke the game with too many features, and it put everything it had on Synced Reels and Splitz. As far as I am concerned, it paid off, for it was an enjoyable ride with several lucrative payouts.

Still, it does not mean it could not have been even better. Wilds and Scatters would have added another great element to the game and introduced more winning possibilities. Despite the generous maximum win, the betting range could have been broader.

Not So Cheap Thrills

The playing area has 6 reels and 3 to 7 rows, and the game starts with 729 ways to win, but it can go up to 21,168. The 96.00% RTP equals the industry average, indicating solid payouts in bearable intervals. As for me, I grabbed some respectable amounts, but no jaw-dropping wins occurred.

Diamonds, bells, cherries and dice are the most generous symbols in the paytable, with 6 diamonds paying 10x the stake. Splitz icons activate the feature of the same name. No Wild symbols or Scatters exist, so you cannot grab extra wins through bonus rounds.

I checked out all the bets in the game, and players can get the ball rolling with only $0.1. The highest bet you can lay is $20, which means high rollers will probably not be delighted. Still, the lucrative maximum win of 64,000x should soften their hearts, as well as the amount of $2.28m they can play for.

Features in Syncronite

The only 2 features include Splitz and Synced Reels, without bonus rounds.

Splitz

This feature triggers when 2 to 6 Splitz symbols land on the grid. They come in the form of 2 full-reel golden lion symbols. When they hit, they split into up to 8 same paying symbols, delivering decent wins. Moreover, they can take up only half of a reel. Of course, the number of win ways will enhance with the number of golden lions, with the maximum of 21,168.

Synced Reels

Synced Reels does precisely what it says, synchronising 2-6 reels that mirror each other on a spin. The most important thing for the players is that Splitz icons can land on synced reels, although I did not see them there too often. Naturally, more synced reels mean better payouts, leading to massive amounts.

My Recap of Syncronite

Syncronite is a great game that surprised me with its classic appeal and stylish design. With only 2 features, the game succeeds in being continuously exciting and entertaining.

The entire presentation was extremely memorable, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Add some hefty wins to the mix, and the experience is truly unforgettable.

However, I would like to point out a couple of flaws, starting from the lack of bonus rounds. If the game does not have Wilds or Scatters, it is always a drawback, regardless of the other apparent qualities.

The title would have also benefited from a broader betting range, for it seems to be tailored only to penny-pinchers. Although these little things will probably hack someone off,  Syncronite is still a magnificent game.

Pros

  • imgPotentially fantastic payouts
  • imgExceptional design
  • imgSimple but excellent

Cons

  • imgNo Wilds, Scatters or bonus rounds
  • imgNarrow betting scope
