The most important question is why is the queen smiling all the time? Was she pleased to be sacrificed with the pharaoh, or is she still alive, hiding behind the stone mask? I guess we will never know. What I do know for a fact is that the reels are placed at the very entrance of the tomb.
The grid stands between 2 stone pillars, with a symbol of a serpent standing on top. Obviously, the serpent represents the royalty and divinity of the ancient rulers. Sadly, once a wealthy pharaoh is now covered with tons of desert sand.
Now, I am starting to wonder whether the queen is the main character in the Light & Wonder product. She acts as a Wild and appears on all reels, substituting for all regular symbols and triggering the Royal Treasure feature. On the reels, you will come across golden scarabs, the eye of Horus, the pharaoh’s sceptres, and ancient scrolls.
Maybe the scrolls can solve the mystery of the queen, eh? Standard playing cards are used for low-paying icons. The Bonus Wheel Scatter is there to trigger the Bonus Wheel feature. Bastet, Horus, and Anubis may trigger the Cash Collect feature.
The rules of the game are as simple as breathing. Mummy’s Millions pokie is played on a 5×3 grid with 25 fixed paylines. The slot pays left to right, beginning from the leftmost reel. 3-of-a-kind is the minimum for landing payouts.
Betting starts at $0.20. The maximum bet is $150. Activate the Turbo mode if you want the reels to spin faster. When you want to rest from hitting the Spin button, activate up to 100 automatic spins. The 2024 release offers a max payout of 5,050x per spin. Mummy’s Millions RTP is 96.00%.
The pharaoh’s tomb hides many mysteries and many additional features that you will enjoy. Every spin can come with a surprise. The Cash Collect feature brings instant wins. The Royal Treasure feature offers prizes up to 50x.
Once you land 3 Scatters, you will trigger the Bonus Wheel. Spin the Wheel and you will get either the Royal Treasure feature, the Cash Collect Free Spins feature, or 1 of 3 fixed jackpots. You also have the option to buy the feature for around 35x the bet.
You can trigger the Cash Collect feature in 2 ways. First, you can land any of the mask symbols on the first reel – Bastet, Hours, and/or Anubis. The landed mask will expand into a sarcophagus and release the mummy. All cash symbols on the reels will be collected. Also, the mummy will add up to 5 cash symbols on the reels.
Another way to release the mummy is by landing 3 cash symbols on the central reel. Cash symbols carry different values, between 1x and 5x. I was lucky enough to trigger the Cash Collect feature in the base game several ways. The mummy was always generous to me, adding extra cash symbols on the reels. My biggest win was around 150x.
When 3 Wilds land on a single reel, they may randomly expand to cover the entire reel and trigger the Royal Treasure feature. The treasure chest will open and reveal a prize of up to 50x. The bad part of the story is that you will not trigger the feature each time you land 3 Wilds on a single reel. I triggered the feature 3 times while I tested the game. My biggest win was 10x.
When 3 Scatters land on reels 1, 3, and 5, you trigger the Bonus Wheel feature. Spin the Wheel and you may trigger the Mini Jackpot (40x), Minor Jackpot (250x), or the Major Jackpot (5,000x). Also, the Wheel may trigger the Royal Treasure feature or the Cash Collect Free Spins feature. In most cases, I triggered free spins. I got the Mini Jackpot only once.
In the Cash Collect Free Spins feature, you get 5 free spins. When a sarcophagus appears on the 1st reel, the remaining reels expand to 6 rows. During the spin, a set of cash symbols may appear. Also, the mummy that appears from the sarcophagus will add cash icons on the grid. Cash symbols come with values between 0.5x and 6.5x.
I triggered free spins several times and in each round, the mummy appeared on at least 2 free spins. Each time the mummy got me decent wins. None of them were smaller than 250x. The most I won in free spins was around 500x. What I do not like about free spins is that they cannot be triggered.
Trigger the Buy Pass feature for 35.2x the bet, and trigger the Cash Collect Free Spins feature. Use it if you don’t want to wait for the Scatters to appear on the reels in a traditional way. Frankly, I don’t like this option because it usually delivers smaller wins.
Mummy’s Millions slot is a quality game that is perfect for players looking for plenty of action. If you fancy pokies with little or no additional features, please look for fun elsewhere.
The Light & Wonder product offers action on almost every spin. While I tested the game, I won decent amounts in the base game. My biggest base game win was 25x.
I do not like the fact that you cannot retrigger free spins and that you only get 5 of them. What I hated the most in Mummy’s Millions pokie is the fact that 3 Wilds on one reel do not always trigger the Royal Treasure feature.
Nevertheless, I had so much fun testing the Light & Wonder title and I would like to recommend it to my fellow action junkies. I rate Mummy’s Millions 7.4.
