Jammin’ Jars 2 Pokie Review

Action junkies will be pleased to know that Jammin’ Jars 2 offers more additional features than the original pokie. Who would have thought, eh? They kept the Cascading Reels and the Free Spins feature, modified the Rainbow feature and introduced the Fruit Blast feature.

Also, they added the Instant Prize, the Collectable Vinyl feature and the Giga Jar feature. What I like the most is that the Buy feature is no longer available.

Cascading Reels

With every winning cluster come cascading reels. Winning icons are removed and new symbols land on vacant cells. This can get you multiple wins in a single spin.

Wild Jar

When a Wild jar is a part of the winning cluster, it will not disappear from the grid. It will take one of the vacant positions and stay to help you land a new win. Each time a Wild jar is part of the winning cluster, its win multiplier, which starts at 1x, will increase by 1x.

Wilds remain in the cells as long as they are part of the winning cluster. I did not have much luck with the Wilds. In most cases, it was 1, rarely 2, while I got 3 on only 4 occasions.

Instant Prize

Instant Prize icons appear anywhere on the reels. Each has a value attached. If you land a cluster of 5+, you collect the values from the symbols. This can get you up to 1,000x. My biggest win here was 40x.

Fruit Blast

After any cascade, the Fruit Blast feature can be triggered. The graphic equalizer is activated and it drops either a giant fruit symbol or an Instant Prize symbol on the reels. I got several of them and none of them resulted in hefty payouts.

Free Games

When you get 3+ Wild jars on the reels, you trigger 6 free spins. Wild jars remain on the reels and come with increasing win multipliers, just like in the base game. I triggered the feature 4 times while I tested the game. My biggest win here was around 1,000x.

Collectable Gold Vinyl

Every time a Gold Vinyl lands, it will be collected in the Meter. When you collect a certain amount, you upgrade the level of the game. This increases the RTP of the game, up to 96.60%. When you reach Level 5, you can trigger the Giga Jar feature.

Giga Jar

When the Giga Jar feature is triggered, you get 8 Giga Jar spins. All symbols are removed from the grid. You get 3-4 Wild jars on the reels. After that, the Giga Jar icon lands as a 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 instant Prize symbol block.

If you land a cluster of 5 Instant Prize symbols or another instant Prize block, you get a win. Wild jars will change positions for every Giga Jar spin. Unfortunately, I never managed to trigger this feature.
