I was surprised by the amount of action in the Wazdan title, given the fact that this is a tragic love story. Frankly, I expected a boring pokie. Each winning spin comes with locked symbols. There are two types of butterflies you collect, and each of them triggers a different feature.

Pay attention to the sacks that appear on the reels because they may take away some of the butterflies you collected. However, sacks also trigger an additional feature, called the Magic Sack Bonus.

Respin

Each time you land a winning combo, the winning symbols will lock in place, while other symbols respin. You only get 1 respin per winning spin, which can improve your wins. This feature can really boost your balance. At least, that was the case with me.

Liang Shanbo Bonus Spins

Whenever you land a blue butterfly, it will be collected and placed in the corresponding position at the Liang Shanbo Bonus Spins Matrix Table. Once the Table is full, you need to land 5 pink butterflies on the reels to trigger the Liang Shanbo Bonus Spins feature.

During the following 16 paid Bonus Spins, each Wild that lands on the reels is locked. When you end the feature, Wilds will pay according to the paytable.

It is not that hard to trigger this feature. However, I don’t like the fact that the Bonus Spins are not free. Sometimes, you don’t win as much as you spend on these Bonus Spins.

Every time you land a pink butterfly, it will be collected and placed in the corresponding position at the Zhu Yingtai Free Spins Bonus Matrix Table. When you fill all 16 positions in the Table, you will need 5 pink butterflies on the reels to trigger 16 free spins.

Magic Sack Bonus

Before the feature begins, 5 random Wilds are added to the reels. One of the low-value icons is randomly selected to be a sack symbol. Each time that symbol appears on the grid, it turns into a Wild and increases the win multiplier by 1x.

All Wilds that land are locked until the end of the feature, which is over once you use all 8 Bonus spins. This is probably the hardest feature to trigger in the 2019 release. Also, it is not that generous. My biggest win here was 32x.
