Swedish software supplier Play’n GO has announced the launch of a range of crash games, with the first title going live in March 2025.
Play’n GO crash games will use the innovative Crashback mechanic, which will be unveiled at ICE Totally Gaming 2025 show in Barcelona.
Play’n GO has jumped on the bandwagon to offer its take on crash games via the patented Crashback mechanic. As stated in a press release published by the provider, the innovative mechanics will allow players to re-enter the game round after cashing out. All they have to do is to wager the amount they have won and cashed out.
Such a unique approach to the crash game genre will provide players with an additional opportunity to win in a single round. The provider states it’s a “testament to the studio’s constant commitment to innovation”.
The first game using the Crashback mechanic will be Miner Donkey. Its release is scheduled for March 2025. The following two titles will be Bucking Rider and Boat Bonanza Rider, which will go live in April and May, respectively.
The initial batch of Crashback games will be displayed at ICE 2025, whose visitors can give them a go. For this purpose, Play’n GO will take over the iconic W Hotel in Barcelona and transform it into its headquarters.
Ebba Arnred, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Play’n GO, says they want to offer “something fresh and unforgettable” to their clients and customers at this year’s ICE, which takes place in Barcelona for the first time.
“This is the perfect way to kickstart our 20th-anniversary celebrations that will take place throughout 2025,” adds Arnred, inviting Play’n GO partners to the W Hotel next week.
George Olekszy, Play’n GO’s Head of Game Retention, sees ICE as the perfect opportunity to show their take on the game genre to the world.
“We’ve taken the thrill of crash games and added an extra layer of strategy that rewards both risk-takers and cautious players alike,” says Olekszy, highlighting that the new mechanics will give players more control, thus revolutionising the entire genre.
On January 20th, Play’n GO will throw a party to celebrate its 20th anniversary. It will be hosted by Stuart Trigwell, Director of Business Development, and Natalie Pinkham, a Formula One pit lane reporter for Sky Sports F1. A Q&A section is planned, along with a unique interactive quiz where visitors can win top-class prizes.
