Choosing a slot machine to play can be overwhelming due to the variety of options. Each game is unique in some way, and sometimes, I must confess that I’m blinded by the striking visuals and pick titles based on their appearance only. However, such an approach proved detrimental to my budget more than once.

The feature that tells you a lot about how a particular slot pays is its RTP. Simply put, the higher the RTP, the better. In an effort to share my online gambling experience with the world, I have created a guide to the highest-paying games by Big Time Gaming.

The provider best known for its Megaways mechanics has created numerous high RTP slots. Below, you can learn more about the best Big Time Gaming games with high RTP of all time and those released in the past three years. Highest Paying Slots Overall

Considering Big Time Gaming slots’ RTPs, I’ve noticed that some of the provider’s earliest titles deserve to be added to my list. So, here is a lowdown of the highest-paying BTG slots overall.

White Rabbit (96.24%-97.77%)

Set off an adventure in Wonderland with White Rabbit, a slot offering up to 248,832 ways to win. It’s one of my favourites because of its high RTP and the high variance, so I enjoyed the unpredictability of each spin, playing for up to 17,240x the stake.

I particularly loved seeing the animated caterpillar blowing smoke rings onto the reels and helping me create winning combos with Bonus Wilds carrying 2x and 3x multipliers.

The protagonist, acting as Scatter, took me down the rabbit hole, and I followed him diligently. White Rabbit Scatters award free spins, with reels expanding to enable the maximum number of ways to win. Queen Reels with more Wilds and Red Queen icons can also come into play within free spins.

The White Rabbit slot offers the Feature Drop option, which increases the RTP from 96.24% to 97.77% and takes you directly to the free spins feature. If you play the game long enough, you can collect Feature Drop symbols that reduce the price of the feature.

Queen of Riches (96.90%)

The runner-up on my list of the highest RTP slots by Big Time Gaming of all time features none other than Cleopatra herself. Queen of Riches is another Megaways slot, where each spin provides a different number of ways to win, up to 117,649. Visually, it’s a typical BTG affair, providing an old-school vibe.

Cleopatra appears on reels 2-6 dancing and counting as 7 Wilds with up to 7x multiplier. If two or more Wilds contribute to a winning combo, multipliers multiply themselves, boosting your winnings up to 49x. The Reel Clone feature can activate on any spin, copying the same combinations on up to 6 reels. Full Wild Reels can also be cloned, enhancing your odds.

Despite not offering free spins, Queen of Riches rightfully deserves its place on this list thanks to a 96.90% RTP. Its maximum payout of 77,800x the bet is another reason to give it a go. Beware of its extreme volatility, though.

Extra Chilli Megaways (96.41%-96.82%)

Although it was launched in 2017, Extra Chilli is still one of the slots I play regularly. Mexican-themed, the game shares some elements with another BTG hit, Bonanza. Still, its appearance and soundtrack, along with a few other features, make it unique.

When I started playing the game, I was carried away by the overall atmosphere. At the same time, Megaways, an extra reel and a max win of 16,877x kept me on the edge of my seat. Up to 117,649 ways to win are possible, with reactions providing additional chances of winning. Wild appearing on the extra reel helped me complete multiple winning combos at once.

Extra Chilli offers a free spins round that begins once 3 HOT Scatters hit the grid. The unlimited multiplier increasing by 1 after each win helped me cash in some excellent payouts.

The game also lets you accept the default number of free spins or gamble for a chance to increase it. Finally, increasing the RTP from 96.41% to 96.82%, the Feature Drop lets you unlock free spins without waiting.

Opal Fruits (96.75%)

With an RTP above the industry average, Opal Fruits is a fruit machine with a twist. It takes place in outer space, with two extra reels boosting your odds. The game offers up to 5,625 ways to win, with payouts of up to 36,600x the bet, so you can expect some high volatility action.

Within the base game, you can benefit from 3x Wilds appearing along with regular ones on the extra reels only. Multipliers attached to Wilds multiply each other if two or more substitutes contribute to a win.

Besides reactions occurring on each win, the game benefits from free spins with an unlimited multiplier. I gasped when Extra Scatter increased the starting multiplier 5x. Each new Extra Scatter increases the multiplier 10x, so some serious payouts can land here.

What I liked the most about the free spins feature is that a set of extra 5 free spins is granted when the multiplier reaches 10x.

Castle of Terror (96.73%)

All horror buffs rejoice because Castle of Terror will send shivers down your spine while offering a chance to win up to 51,772x the stake. Boasting an RTP of 96.73%, the slot is highly volatile, so be ready for many dead spins until a big win kicks in. The Holy Water feature can activate at random at any time to turn selected high-value icons into Wilds and increase the multiplier by 1 for each converted symbol.

I discovered the true meaning of the slot’s title within free spins, where all the characters become vampires. Holy Water will turn some of them into Wilds on each free spin, increasing the multiplier.

High RTP Slots Among the New Games

Bragging an RTP of 96.72%, King of Cats is not one but two slots you can play simultaneously. Thanks to the PlayerSelect feature, you can swap between the Lion and Puma Game.

The game has two different settings, with the action taking place in an African savannah and a Peruvian jungle, respectively. The maximum payout stands at 56,620x the stake, so it is another highly volatile title from the provider.

The 2021 BTG release is all about Lion and Puma Wilds, with the former covering up to 4×4 positions and carrying up to 16x multiplier. The latter cover up to 3 reels with a random multiplier of up to 4x.
