You will enjoy this Sci-Fi adventure, believe me! Even though it may seem complicated from time to time. So, rattle your dags and prepare your vault-braking equipment. Something like Charlize Theron in The Italian Job. Or maybe I am an old bloke who remembers this flick. If you have a better reference just use it, eh?
The truth is that you will be accompanied by a beautiful bank robber who is looking for someone who will help her in this mission. So, you can be her Mark Wahlberg. Again, The Italian Job is one of my favourite movies, so don’t hold it against me, please.
Like every professional burglar, you need the correct equipment if you want to be successful. In Cyber Vault slot, you should obtain some futuristic gadgets. The Four Leaf Gaming product comes with different charges, bombs, cameras, and explosives that should be used when cracking a vault.
The battery is there to help you charge the Powerup Reel. The Wild will substitute for every regular symbol. Card suits made from metal and different fluids represent low-paying icons. Unfortunately, the lovely bank robber does not appear on the reels.
As for the rules of the base game, they are pretty clear. And you need to follow them if you don’t want the alarm to go off. The slot is played on a 5×5 grid with 3,125 ways to win. You can bet as low as $0.10 and as high as $20 per spin.
Cyber Vault slot pays left to right, beginning from the leftmost reel. To win a payout, you need matching icons on at least 3 successive reels. The Four Leaf Gaming title is of medium volatility and offers a 20,000x max payout. Cyber Vault RTP is 96.13%.
Every bank robbery story comes with loads of tension, complicated situations, and action. In most cases, the robbers get away with it. With the Cyber Vault pokie, you will come across different extras that will either help you land big wins or complicate your lives.
At least, that was the case with me. It took me a while to understand how everything functions around here when talking about special features. The most important part is the Uplink Trail. Once you understand how this works, you will be in for a treat.
Batteries can land on every reel. They will not pay anything. Batteries are collected for the Powerup Reel. Each time you collect 3 batteries, the Powerup Reel spins. You will either get a move on the Uplink Trail, collect the current prize on the Uplink Trail, or collect Fortune Coins.
I will say this – batteries land on the reels quite often. However, in most cases, I got the moves on the Uplink Trail. The Collect options did not appear that often.
So, when the Powerup Reel displays a number of moves, the field on the Uplink Trail you are currently at will always be highlighted. By the way, the Uplink Trail goes around the reels. When you land the Collect option on the Powerup Reel, you will collect the values from the highlighted field.
With the Uplink Trail, you can collect multipliers, the Free Spins feature, or the Super Spinner Bonus. As I said, I did not get the Collect option many times. When I did, I usually got 3x and 8x multipliers. I triggered the Free Spins feature and the Super Spinner Bonus feature a few times.
The Super Spinner Bonus is a prize wheel that you spin and get either cash prizes between 40x and 250x, or 5-25 Nitro Spins. These are basically free spins that bring you more batteries, more coins, and give you bigger chances of triggering the Super Spinner Bonus.
I triggered this feature twice and the most I got was 15 Nitro Spins at once and a total win of 32x. I hope that you will have more luck than me when you try the game.
When you collect the Free Spins feature, you get 4 free spins during which only cash values and batteries appear. Just like in the base game, you charge the Powerup Reel. Whenever you charge it, the number of free spins resets to 4.
Also, you will move across the Uplink Trail and collect different powerups. Again, with the help of the Powerup Reel. Prizes include powerups, extra spins, battery overcharge, and power multipliers, among others.
I triggered the Free Spins feature only once and won 48x. Thanks to the batteries, I collected around 20 free spins but I did not benefit much from the powerups. What I did notice is that when you fill an entire reel or row, the multipliers are added together in the middle of the reel/row, while the other cells are free again.
In this section, you can either buy the Free Spins feature for 3 coins and 84x the bet, or activate Nitro Spins for 4 coins per spin. If you remember, I have mentioned that you will be collecting coins during spins. These coins are used for activating free spins and Nitro Spins in the Game & Fortune feature.
I tried both options and I cannot say that I am satisfied. I lost all my coins on Nitro Spins and did not win much. As for the Free Spins feature, it cost 3 coins and 84x the bet and I won only 25x.
I had big expectations when I started testing the Cyber Vault pokie. It seemed like a perfect, action-packed slot that houses exceptional graphics and a fitting soundtrack. Well, I was right about the visuals and the soundtrack. As for the rest, I am not that sure.
Don’t get me wrong, I like a pokie with all sorts of additional features. However, I do not like it when extras come with a difficult procedure.
Mostly, I am mad at the Uplink Trail and the Powerup Reel. Batteries land quite often and it is easy to charge the Powerup Reel. Unfortunately, the Powerup Reel usually gives you moves, and not the Collect option.
I have gone over the Uplink Trail more times than I can count. Each time I thought I was about to collect, the Powerup Reel delivered some more moves. It can be very frustrating.
Hopefully, you will have more luck than me. I rate Cyber Vault 7.5.
