Luxury-themed games are commonplace in the industry, but the trick is to make them appealing and attractive enough. Felix Gaming did it successfully with Monaco Fever, putting you in the middle of the action from frame one. The atmosphere allows players to start thinking about the high life immediately.
The charming and thrilling slot won me over quickly with its straightforward nature and fast-paced gameplay. It has medium volatility, which brings well-balanced risk and reward, but you are mistaken if you think it takes the excitement away. I spent an hour on the edge of my seat, waiting for a lucrative win.
Everything flowed smoothly, and the Monaco lights quickly blinded me. Felix Gaming provided a thoroughly entertaining experience full of great perks. The prize selection offers numerous chances for excellent payouts, although I did not manage to snatch massive amounts.
Everyone should experience the excitement of a luxurious casino at least once in life. Feature diversity gives the game a dose of unpredictability, adding an element of surprise to the game. I liked the blend of standard and distinctive features, which ensured a touch of innovation.
However, the game has a couple of drawbacks I must point out, starting from a half-pie maximum win that needed to be better. A Bonus Buy option would have also helped. Still, Monaco Fever has plenty to offer, and I would like to return to it.
The action occurs on a standard 5×3 playing area with 20 paylines, where 3 to 5 identical symbols on a payline deliver wins. Even though the maximum payout is far from ideal, one can still grab solid wins. I wish it had happened to me more often.
A yellow car is the most lucrative regular icon, awarding 62.5x the stake for 5 symbols on a line. Two guys will pay 20x the bet for the same, while two girls are worth 12.5x the stake. A red car is a Wild symbol that appears on all reels and replaces regular symbols in winning combinations. Moreover, a necklace is a Scatter that triggers the bonus round.
The minimum amount you can place is $0.20, while the maximum bet is $60.
The Pick Your Prize bonus is the game’s primary feature, while you can also get a Cash Bonus Feature. Some might feel the game needed more of them, but it was OK for me, although not all periods were eventful.
A Necklace Scatter appears only on the three middle reels, and when three of them drop, they trigger the bonus round. The game offers a total of 6 different options for you to choose from, including a 5x and 10x multiplier. Other possibilities include 10 or 15 free spins and 5 or 10 super games, which include only premium symbols. I got to see 3 of 6, which got me solid payouts but no life-changing wins.
It can grant players a random payout of 3x-25x the bet. The red car drives across the screen, awarding the win. It is always great to get an unexpected reward, although it happened to me only once during my test run.
Monaco Fever adequately conveyed the atmosphere of luxury and high life, with solid base game wins and a memorable primary feature.
It was a continuously entertaining experience that glued my eyes to the screen. It is a great way to kill some time and a game from Felix Gaming I would like to revisit in the future.
On the other hand, the maximum win is quite mediocre for such a theme. Some more winning opportunities, including the Bonus Buy option, would have been excellent.
Despite being lacklustre in the money department, it was a charming game I enjoyed very much.
