Colossal Mystery Symbol

At the start of any spin, both in the base game or during free spins, the Colossal Mystery Symbol can be added on reels 2, 3, and 4. It can be 1×3, 2×3, or 3×3 in size. It appears as ink with a question mark.

When the reels stop, the Colossal Mystery Symbol turns into a randomly chosen regular symbol or into Bonus Fish that triggers the Ink and Win feature.

I did not have much opportunity to land the Colossal Mystery Symbol in the base game. Each time I did, it revealed low-paying icons.

Colossal Free Spins

With 3, 4, or 5 Scatters on the reels, you trigger 8, 10, or 12 free spins, respectively. Unfortunately, this feature cannot be retriggered. However, during free spins, you get more Colossal Mystery Symbols.

I triggered the feature several times. On each occasion, I got plenty of Colossal Mystery Symbols, usually 2×3 in size. In most cases, they helped me form winning combos. My biggest win in free spins was around 1,000x, which was very nice.

Ink & Win

If, during free spins or in the base game, 3 or more fish land on at least 3 different reels, you trigger the Ink and Win feature. You get 3 respins and during this feature, only fish appear. The bigger the fish, the bigger the cash value.

Also, the Octopus will mark 5 hot zones with ink (1 of them being the central cell in the central reel). Each time you land a fish, respins reset to 3. The feature lasts until you fill all the cells with fish or until you use all your response.

When you fill all hot zones with fish, the octopus will appear and collect them. He adds their values together and boosts them with a 2x multiplier. Now, he remains in the central cell until the end of the feature, collecting fish from hot zones and repeating the process.

Also, you can land modifier fish that carry certain modifiers, like add fish or collect fish. It is hard to trigger this feature, at least it was hard for me. I triggered it only twice. On both occasions, I lost all my respins, not getting help from the octopus or the modifier fish. My biggest win was 50x.
