Das xBoot Pokie Review

War movies offer plenty of action and I expected that a pokie machine themed after World War II would meet the demands of action junkies. Needless to say, I was right. Das xBoot is packed with additional features.

Some of them came straight from Nolimit City’s creative kitchen, such as xNudge Wild, xBomb Wild, and xWays. The others are simply modified to fit the theme of the game.

xNudge Wild

The xNudge Wild appears only on reels 3 and 4 in the base game and on reel 4 during the Silent Hunter Free Spins feature. It is a multiplier Wild that covers the entire reel. If a part of the xNudge Wild lands, it will nudge back to cover the entire reel.

Each nudge will increase the win multiplier by 1x. I had plenty of luck with the xNudge Wild, both in the base game and during free spins. It secured me some decent payouts.

xWays

The xWays icon lands only on reels 2 and 5, turning into a randomly chosen symbol when appearing. It can also range from 2-3 regular symbols. If 2 xWays symbols land on the same spin, they will reveal the same regular icon.

xBomb Wild Multiplier

The xBomb Wild substitutes for all regular symbols. It explodes and destroys all icons that are not a part of the winning combo, except for Scatters and other Wilds. Before new icons fill the blank cells, the xBomb Wild increases the total win multiplier by 1x.

Silent Hunter Spins

With 3 Radar Scatters, you trigger the Silent Hunter Spins feature. You get 8 free spins, while the 3rd reel expands to 8 rows. The periscope Wild is then introduced, landing only on the central reel. When the periscope Wild appears on the screen, you initiate the torpedo launch sequence.

If you hit the target with the torpedo, the periscope Wild will grow to the top row and start descending to fill the entire reel. Each nudge increases the win multiplier by 1x. The win multiplier does not reset until the feature ends.

Here, you can land xBomb Wilds to get Sticky Multipliers that increase by 1x for the remainder of the feature. I had a great experience with the Silent Hunter Spins feature, which brought me as much as 1,000x the bet. However, it will take you time to trigger it.

Wolf Pack Spins

The Wolf Pack Spins feature is triggered when 4 radar Scatters appear at the same time. Again, you get 8 free spins with a torpedo appearing beneath the reels 2-5. During the feature, torpedo Wilds can appear on the 4 central reels.

When torpedo Wilds land on reels 2 and 5, they drop a +1 xWays icon in the torpedo area beneath the reels. When torpedo Wilds appear on reels 3 and 4, they drop a 1 xWays Wild in the torpedo area. When you fill all the torpedo sequences beneath, you initiate the torpedo launch.

The collected xWays symbols on reels 2 and 5 transform into one of the regular symbols and split the number of ways. The xWays Wilds on reels 3 and 4 transform into a Wild and split the number of ways, as well.

The torpedo xWays symbol can be as big as 9 cells. With each torpedo launch, you get a Sticky Win Multiplier. Another way to get more Sticky Win Multipliers is by landing xBomb Wilds during the feature.

Buy Feature

You can buy the Silent Hunter Spins feature for 75x the bet. The Wolf Pack Spins feature costs 350x the bet. I do not recommend the Buy option because it is not worth the money.
